This is a great opportunity for professionals with exceptional experience in Rare Diseases to join one of the leading biotech's on the market.
Our client is looking for a highly experienced individual to join their team of experts. They are focused on bringing gene therapy into the commercial setting for patients and families devastated by rare and life-threatening neurological genetic diseases.
You will be accountable for developing and executing the country business plan with a focus on the company's lead program.
Reporting directly to the VP, General Manager European Mid-sized countries.
*While developing the country action plan you will focus on analysis, identification of key customers, issues and opportunities and tactics/activities
*Collaborate with Regional Medical Director and develop a plan for KOL engagement and PAG groups
*Develop, refine and execute market access plans in collaboration with Market Access EMEA
*Building up a network within the country and share knowledge with the EMEA team
*Prepare for launch of lead product, including country sales, growth and market share targets
*Coordinate key medical expert activities, such as preceptorship, and maximize information sharing with other functions
*Maintain excellent product and disease knowledge as well as influencing skills to maximize effectiveness and quality of the customer calls, including presentations to customer groups
*Participation in national/regional meetings and medical conferences
*Support the EMEA team with Marketing activities, Veeva Vault review and QC where needed
*Share best practices, initiatives, and assets in the region and with the global functions
*Estimate resourcing needs for the department and operate within approved budgets.
Education and Experience
*Business savvy professional who has ability to work across multiple functions, geographies and cultures in the region and in a fast paced, ever evolving environment
*Experience with the Irish environment, hospital market and reimbursement system
*Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree highly desired, MBA is a big plus
*Willingness/ability to travel up to 50-60% in the region and internationally at times
*Fluent in English (required).
