If 'Yes' then this is a great opportunity for people with experience in market insights and competitive intelligence solutions sales to join an equally experienced team of experts driven by an ambitious and life-changing project.
You will be responsible for generating new business and revenue growth opportunities within the client base on the West Coast. You will be working with a global team of Brand Scientists supporting your efforts to meet clients' needs to uncover actionable insights for their critical business questions.
*Achieve and/or exceed quarterly sales revenue targets based on growth of existing subscriptions and new business.
*Prepare Account plans with short and longer-term revenue goals to leverage the full potential of our range of solutions
*Provide accurate sales forecasts as required
*Facilitate meetings and deliver relevant, impactful client presentations to senior management level to successfully place the full range of services as meaningful solutions to the clients
*Prepare high quality proposals and successfully negotiate to win profitable new business and grow renewals
*Provide relevant client feedback and intelligence to the product development and marketing teams
*Work proactively and positively with the wider team including Sales, Analysts, Client Services, Marketing and Consultancy, to coordinate and drive the full value of our solutions for the clients.
*Manage the business development process from opportunity initiation through the delivery lifecycle.
*A strong educational background (a Bachelor's degree as a minimum)
*7-10 years' experience in a healthcare/pharma consultancy or market research role
*A range of consultancy experiences from early stage pipeline development through launch and portfolio management
*Proven relationships with senior level healthcare company stakeholders on the West coast
*Track record of personally bringing in $1M+ of consultancy led business per year (can include programs of primary and secondary research and competitive intelligence combined with workshops and strategy sessions)
*A desire to work in a client-focused, commercial environment
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*A proactive approach to work
*High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint
*Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as required
