Payroll & Accounts Manager
I joined the company in December 2001, having previously worked in the Accounts Payable and Expenses departments of BAT and the Sales Invoicing section of Kuwait Aviation.
Initially employed to handle the non-contractor invoices and payments, I progressed to also processing the staff payroll and commissions, balancing the bank statements, preparing the VAT, management accounts and statutory accounts with numerous other ad-hoc accounting jobs in between, except for credit control.
I was awarded full membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians in 2009. I'm mostly home-based but visit the office once a week to see the happy, smiling faces of my hard-working colleagues and I particularly enjoy stretching my legs at the end of that working day with a walk back to the train station, taking in some of the sights of London, although I mainly prefer this on a warm sunny day!
