Regulatory Affairs

Regulatory Affairs professionals are key players in the discovery, testing, manufacturing and marketing of a pharmaceutical product. Their job is to keep abreast of the ever-changing legislation in all the regions in which the company wishes to distribute its products. They are responsible for the preparation and submission of registration documents to regulatory agencies and carry out all the subsequent negotiations necessary to obtain and maintain marketing authorisation for the products concerned. They give strategic and technical advice at the highest level in their organisation.

The very nature of their work brings regulatory personnel into contact with almost every discipline within the industry including liaison with International Health Authorities. Therefore, successful Regulatory professionals need to have excellent communication and presentation abilities, in addition to well developed project management and analytical skills and attention to detail. Most regulatory professionals are graduates in a scientific discipline – commonly life sciences or pharmacy or biotechnology-based degrees are valuable.

Our Regulatory Affairs team understand the unique skill sets required to be successful in this demanding career choice and are highly knowledgeable of the wider sector in which these professionals work. The team provide a consultative service dedicated to getting to know all about our candidates and clients alike. We pride ourselves on a responsive approach, catering for the individual needs of every client and advising and preparing candidates in line with the continual changes of the Regulatory Affairs marketplace.
